When shelters are full, people are left outside in the cold. Tiny Tiny Homes designs and builds portable emergency shelters that offer warmth, safety, and dignity to our unhoused neighbours. With community support, we’re creating safer alternatives to tent encampments.
Each Tiny Tiny Home emergency shelter is compact and mobile, providing a safe and secure temporay living space for those most in need. These innovative shelters are mounted on wheels, allowing for easy mobility and flexibility. Our goal is to replace unsafe tent encampments with these safer, more dignified alternatives, offering a fast and sustainable solution to the city's current homelessness crisis.
Unit Development
We started with a bold idea: a mobile shelter that offers safety, warmth, and dignity. Through hands-on testing and real-world use, our early prototypes shaped the units we build today. Each new model reflects lessons learned, improved design, and our ongoing commitment to doing better for those who need shelter most.
Spreading the word is crucial. We launched an awareness campaign to introduce Tiny Tiny Homes to the community, engaging local media, hosting events, and building a strong online presence to showcase our innovative solution.
It's our vision to build a society where nobody is forced to sleep in the elements again. To make that happen, we need your help. We’re actively seeking grants, donations, and partnerships. A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to enable everyone to contribute to this cause and help us build more Tiny Tiny Homes emergency shelters much faster.
With funding secured, our pilot program will deploy the first Tiny Tiny Homes emergency shelters in key locations. We’ll gather feedback from residents and the community, using these insights to refine our designs and approach.
As pilots succeed, we plan to expand production, grow partnerships, and bring Tiny Tiny Homes to more communities. Whether through volunteering, donating, or partnering, there are many ways to help turn proven ideas into real impact.
