Prior to moving to Toronto in 2015, Kate worked in London, UK as Executive Assistant to Cube Capital, a Hedge Fund with 1.3BGBP under management. Kate has volunteered for eight years with Toronto's most under served and under resourced community members. She spreads her time between four organizations and works predominantly in spaces that support the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness, and individuals in hospice (end of life) care. Kate met Ryan Donais, Founder of Tiny Tiny Homes whilst they both managed the needs of a mutual client who had gone through the Tiny Tiny Homes program but unfortunately was at end of life due to cancer and was receiving care at the hospice where Kate volunteers. Ryan's incredible work inspired her to join the Tiny Tiny Homes team in June of 2025 and she was appointed to the board in November of 2025.
